About Me

I'm Akash Chouhan, a Software Engineer II at Dell Technologies, where I work across the stack to build platforms that support digital commerce at scale.

My day job involves developing micro-frontends with Angular, building backend systems in C# .NET and Node.js, and working with both MongoDB and SQL for complex data workflows. I've also been exploring event-driven and distributed systems to build smarter, more resilient infrastructure.

I drive a lot of engineering documentation efforts at work, making sure that what we build is not just functional, but also understandable and maintainable.

I'm also deeply curious about all things systems programming, the low-level magic that makes everything tick.

Beyond Work

When I'm not writing code, I'm usually working out, playing music, going for a run, or out capturing moments with my camera.

I read occasionally, mostly to slow down, sometimes to catch up. Staying active clears my head. So does stepping away from the screen.
